Pets=cats

Couple of days ago, i found some cute cat breed from Marthastewart.com. And found some looooovely cats. They're so cute and gorgeous that i can't help to post some of their pic in my fb.

I never have cats, neither anybody in my house. But i'm the only one that never have any pet. My mom loved birds, she had more than 3 birds as i recalled, they ended up died become a victim of wild stray cat or flown away, but she never gave up, her latest beo is called Carlo and still very much alive till now. My dad likes fish, and we used to have 2 fish pools in our house. My sister? Well, i don't know what she likes, but she loves furry things, and she surprised us by taking home rabbits. The first was died of over feed, and the second is gorgeous and cute ^_^, his name is Kino, and he's the adorable creature. This how he looks

Those are the latest crochet projects that i have just finished, i'm too moody to concentrate on one thing only, so i need at least 2 weeks except for my droid pouch, since i need it badly so i made it in 3-4 days, which is a record for me (forgive my laziness, God T_T)

My latest hobby (that almost expire)

I always like craft, even if i'm not one of those handy person, in fact i hate craft when i was a student. I just couldn't make anything right, back then.

But after a lot of exposure on my mom's cross stitch skill and my grandma's amazing crafty passion, i started to love craft. I admire those with creative hands and minds behind all crafty things. It seems their creative minds are never ending flow stream. You'll find so many different things here and there. It just so amazing ^_^

When i was in my senior high school, i was interested in crocheting. It seemed fun and the result was just beautiful. If you guess i tried to learn how to do it, you are right, but it only last for..i don't know, 10 or 15 minutes? It was hard and i couldn't stand it. Period.

My friend, Lany, is an avid crafter. She made a lot of good things, and everything seems easy for her. Knitting and crocheting are easy for her. That made me want to learn again, she lent me crocheting book, but i was just to difficult for me to understand. (i have problem figuring 3D). i quite. Again.

The real lesson of crocheting was finally started last year. I found a place to study and taraaaa, suddenly to crochet is possible! ^_^. Amigurumi and clothing are waaaay of my reach, but who knows, somedya i'll make it happen ^_^.

What can you do with vegetables? (2)

i have another idea to make sure those veggies haters eat their veggies ^_^

This is my version of cream soup, have a try.

What you need:

1. Broccoli florets, 1 cup will be enough (around 200 grams?)
2. Sweet corn, 1 cup (canned or fresh)
3. Plain milk, 1 cup (like...200-250 ml?)
4. Water or chicken broth, 1/2 cup (100 ml)
5. Cheddar, handful
6. Salt and pepper
7. 1 medium onion, minced
8. 2 tb spoon of maizena, mix with 4 tb spoon of water (or you can take the water form no. 4)
9. 1 tb spoon of margarine or butter
10. a grate of nutmeg (1/8 teaspoon)

How to do it?

1. On a heated pan, stir fry minced onion and butter and let it brownish.
2.  Add salt and pepper, and a grate of nutmeg.
3. Add water or chicken broth
4. Add sweet corn and broccoli, let it boiled.
5. Add milk and maizena mix, stir and turn the fire off once boiled so you don't overcook the vegetables.
6. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese before serving.

Note: you can add chicken chunks or sausage if you like

i forget to add the cheese there T_T

What can you do with vegetables?

Some people love them, some people loathe them, and me? I go with the first.

I love veggies, and i have tried my share on become vegetarian, it's fine but since i also love chicken and fish, so it's kind hard to keep up so i just pile up my veggies, just like my late mom used to say, "Eat your veggies." which she hardly ever said because i already love my veggies.

Last Saturday up until....hum....Tuesday? Yup, Tuesday it was. I accidentally bought to much vegetables. I planned to made cap cay (Chinese mixed vegetables saute), usually some seafood or chicken dice will needed, but i totally forgot about it when i did my shopping. So, here's the pure vegetable cap cay i made, i won't call my self narcissist but it was indeed nice ^_^

Not quite sure? I know, but trust me, it's nice. I should learn to take better picture for sure

Here's is the recipe:
What you need: Chinese cabbage, small or medium size, cleaned, rinsed, and chopped
                            Cauliflower, loosen to florets
                            1 clove garlic, minced
                            Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon of maizena, mix with 2 tb spoon of water
1 tb spoon of vegetable oil of your choice
                             Water or chicken broth
How you do it?

1.  On a heated pan, mix garlic and oil, let it a little bit brownish.
2. Add cauliflower and chinese cabbage, add water  or chicken broth just to make sure your veggies cooked
3. Add salt and pepper, and half tea spoon of oyster sauce, if you like.
4. Once the vegetable tender, add maizena mix.

Tell me how's yours taste? ^_^

Welcome ^_^

Those who know me, maybe have enough of my blogs. I admit it (blushed) i have made tens of blogs. Most of them are seriously designed and meant to be my only passion. But, apparently it's not an easy thing to do (for me), who had serious issue of recognizing what i like and what to do in my life.

So, i decided to try one more time, and hoping that this time, my commitment on writing a journal (note that 'A') won't waver again, and hopefully at the end, i will figure what i really like the most.

Save journey (for me ^_^) and happy reading!
